We are holding an auction of some sound recording accessory equipment used and endorsed by Chris Watson. All proceeds have been kindly offered to The Philip Jeck Foundation. Minimum bids are listed below and the closing date for bids is 30th June 2026.

“My Portabrace audio organiser has accompanied me on location for more than twenty years. It is sun bleached, weather worn and battered having been on my shoulder, supporting my equipment, at -44C at the South Pole, +45C in the Congo and many other places in between. It remains functional.”

“My Billingham Bag has been an essential world travelling companion. It has carried personal and technical support items and has been frequently shared by Sir David Attenborough for some of his personal kit when we were out filming together. It carries the marks from years of valuable service as a badge of honour.”

“A lightweight telescopic film lighting stand, used as a microphone stand and featured on the cover of the ‘Oxmardyke’ album.”

“A Pelican Protector 1700 case which has safely carried many of my microphone arrays inside whilst displaying the marks of being externally bruised and mishandled by airlines around the world. Totally robust and reliable.”
